Welcome to the CoursePlus Web site for TOXICOLOGY SEMINAR (187.861.01), a course offered by the Department of Environmental Health Sciences at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Students, postdoctoral trainees, and faculty in EHS present scientific papers from the current literature dealing with biochemical and molecular mechanisms of toxicity agents.
Upon successfully completing this course, students will be able to:
- Read and critically evaluate scientific papers
- Assess new methodological approaches in the area of biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology and genomics
- Analyze pathways of toxicity at the molecular, cellular and tissue levels
